OPC ist die Abk\u00fcrzung f\u00fcr Oligomere Proanthocyanidine. Sie geh\u00f6ren zu den sekund\u00e4ren Pflanzenstoffen und werden zur gro\u00dfen Gruppe der Polyphenole gez\u00e4hlt.<\/p>\n

Die Ausgangsstoffe f\u00fcr OPC finden sich in vielen Pflanzen und Fr\u00fcchten, hier besonders in Rinden, Kernh\u00e4uten und Schalen.<\/p>\n

Entdeckt wurde OPC im Jahre 1948 von dem franz\u00f6sischen Wissenschaftler Professor Dr. Jack Masquelier.
